Policy
Whistleblowing and non-retaliation policy
Last updated
Summary
Accenti encourages anyone to raise concerns about wrongdoing, and protects everyone who does so in good faith from retaliation.
Who it applies to
The policy applies to employees, temporary personnel, contractors, suppliers, clients and members of the public, and covers any breach of law or of Accenti policy.
Key requirements
Channels
Raise a concern with a line manager, Human Resources, Finance (Compliance) or the Chief Executive Officer, in person, by phone or in writing.
Anonymity
Concerns may be raised anonymously. Giving a contact route helps us investigate and give feedback.
Confidentiality
The reporter's identity is shared only with those who need to know to investigate, unless the law requires otherwise.
Investigation
Every concern is acknowledged, assessed and, where warranted, investigated by someone independent of the matter, with the outcome shared where appropriate.
Protection from retaliation
No one is dismissed, disciplined, harassed or disadvantaged for a good-faith report, even if it proves unfounded. Retaliation is a disciplinary offense.
Register and review
Compliance keeps a confidential register of concerns and reports themes to management. The policy is reviewed at least annually.
This page summarizes the policy. The signed document is the authoritative version.
